Prototype for Unity Based RPG
I completed this work as an intern at RatTatBang Games. The game designer asked that I create an environment that would be used as a demonstration for his prototype role playing game. I created the hard scapes and softscapes, along with the prop assets for this game built on the Unity engine.
I modeled the major building elements in Sketchup, based on photographs of actual buildings. This helped to get elements with proper proportions very quickly. After transferring the meshes to Maya, I mapped their UV’s and applied textures. I also organized the meshes so that they could be easily placed as prefabs within Unity. I used Photoshop to alter the source photographs to create the textures for the pieces.
